Oklahoma State University is a public educational institution in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The school was originally established in 1890 and currently enrolls over 35,000 students. Oklahoma State’s teams are known as the Cowboys. Textbooks are a top priority for OSU students. There are a number of places to choose from if you are looking to purchase your course materials in the Stillwater area. The following information includes details about local stores:

The campus bookstore at Oklahoma State is the OSU Student Union Bookstore. It is located right in the heart of campus in the student union, which also houses other student services. Approximately 40% of the store’s inventory represents used books, which is much higher than the national average of 22% at campus bookstores. Because students are always connected with technology, you can surf the net for free at the store via Wi-Fi.  Students can easily access their textbook lists for each of their courses by logging on to the website for the store.

Hall of Fame Book Trader is a unique option to buy, sell, and trade your textbooks. It’s easy to find at 120 West Hall of Fame Avenue in downtown Stillwater. The store offers some of the highest rates on textbook buybacks and has an extensive selection of used books for students looking to save money on as many books as possible. Students can also find Cowboys gear to get in the game and help support their school with t-shirts, hats, backpacks, and more.

Cowboy Book at 520 West Elm Avenue in Stillwater is an additional independent bookstore to check out for new and used OSU books. This store sells everything OSU students need, which includes a wide variety of items but primarily books. Not only can you order books online and pick them up at the store, but you can also buy them online and have them shipped to you for free. If you are back home or on vacation before the start of a semester, get your books shipped to you early to avoid the rush.

The Book Nook is a local bookshop at 1103 South Main Street. Its unique selection of new and used books offers something for every customer who walks in to explore the selection. You may be able to find some of the textbooks you need for your classes at reduced prices, or if you just want to pick up a new book for your shelf, there will likely be something here that you’ll enjoy.
