The University of Tennessee at Martin, also known as Tennessee Martin or UTM, is an institution that is under the umbrella of the University of Tennessee system but maintains a separate place in this system. Established in 1927, Tennessee-Martin now has an annual enrollment of about 8,000 students, most of whom are undergraduate students. The school’s 930-acre rural campus is home to several varsity athletic teams called the Skyhawks. UTM students can choose from the following options when buying their textbooks and school supplies:

The official bookstore at the school, which is housed inside the Boling University Center at 11 Wayne Fisher Drive, is the University of Tennessee at Martin Bookstore. Open Monday through Saturday, the store has all of the required and recommended course materials for students of all academic disciplines at UT-Martin. Regardless of what option you choose from the many selections on textbooks here, you are sure to find a pretty decent price. Your choices include brand new books, used books, digital books, and rentals. You can save lots of money by renting and going digital, although not all books are available in these forms. To show your support for the school’s athletic teams, be sure to pick up one of the many souvenir items here like hats, shirts, car flags, and even socks, all of which have the Skyhawks logo and orange and blue colors on them. If you are in the market for some new computer software or hardware, make sure you check the store because you will enjoy great savings on these items as a student. Other items available include school supplies like backpacks and pens as well as alumni gear. Additionally, the store partners with local retailers to offer even more opportunities for discounts to students. Stop by the store for more info on this.

Located at 118 Hurt Street, Bradley Book Company is a well-respected and well-established book company with multiple locations in Tennessee. The location in downtown Martin offers lots of textbooks and items to UT-Martin students in all levels of academia. The store sells one of the largest selections of textbooks for rent in the entire state. If you’ve never rented your books before, you are really missing out on great savings. Plus it gets the books out of your closet when you are done with them. This means you don’t have to worry about trying to re-sell them or having them hog up valuable space for new books each semester. Bradley Book Company also sells new and used textbooks, and you can purchase most of your books online by filling out a simple order form. The bookstore is generally open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., meaning you will have plenty of time each day to stop in when it’s convenient for you.
