Jackson State University is a public institution of higher education located in Jackson, Mississippi. Originally established in 1877, the school is also known as JSU and is historically black. JSU currently has a student enrollment of about 8,700. The athletic teams at the university are known as the Tigers, and these teams compete in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. Plus there’s a special health science textbook section. In addition to textbooks, you’ll also find plenty of other pieces of merchandise at the Jackson State University Bookstore. These include graduation supplies if you’re getting ready to walk soon, alumni gifts if you’re in town for homecoming, Tigers team gear, and general books.
