Mississippi Valley State University is a small public university located in the rural town of Itta Bena in unincorporated Lellore County, Mississippi. The campus sits on a 450-acre tract of land. Founded in 1950, MVSU is a school that is historically black. Its current annual enrollment is about 2,500 with students studying a variety of academic subjects. Perhaps the school’s most famous alumnus is NFL Hall of Famer Jerry Rice who starred on the San Francisco 49ers. Speaking of sports, the school’s athletic teams are called the Delta Devils. These teams compete in Division I of the NCAA’s Southwestern Athletic Conference in multiple sports. The official school colors at MVSU are forest green and white. Mississippi Valley State students have the following choices to make when buying their textbooks and course materials:

The Mississippi Valley State University Bookstore is the official campus textbook store at the university. It is situated in the heart of the MVSU campus, and the street address for the store is 14000 Highway 82 West. When you shop here, you know you’ll be getting the correct items to help you do well in all of your classes. In terms of textbooks, you can either buy your books new or used, rent your books, or download digital versions of them for your computer, tablet, or smartphone. In addition to books, this store sells all kinds of other merchandise, such as team apparel to show your support for the Delta Devils, graduation supplies if you’re set to walk soon, alumni gifts, and discounted technology products. General books are available as well. The bookstore has a fair return policy and will give a full refund on items returned before the add/drop deadline is up. Most items for sale in the store can also be purchased via the store’s website. Make sure you register for the bookstore’s newsletter to get special offers and discounts on items.

Since there aren’t even any other bookstores in the Itta Bena area to shop for textbooks at, you should seriously consider looking for books online if you can’t find what you need in the official MVSU bookstore. By utilizing Textbooks.org, you can quickly and easily compare prices on all of your textbooks from a wide variety of online textbook outlets. This is a smart way to shop, and you’ll be able to find all kinds of versions of your books as well, including books for rent and e-textbooks.
